FOR THIS PERSPECTIVE, WE NEED NOT GO FURTHER BACK THAN... EISENHOOSER. NOW DWIGHT WAS A PRETTY SHARP FELLER. HE RAN THE SHOW IN EUROPE AS THE SUPREME BUTT KICKER IN CHARGE OF WHOOPING UNCLE ADOLPH AND HIS NUTZIES. HE KNEW THE VALUE OF SURROUNDING HIMSELF WITH ABLE AND WELL QUALIFIED PEOPLE. Tyranny? I live off a dirt road in the desert and Code Enforcement came to my door and said to get rid of the weeds out back. Never mind the empty lot next door that has never been cleared. I was told to get rid of a freezer chest on the back patio. 3/4 full of frozen foodstuffs... and with a keylock on it! Didn't matter to him, the law is the law I was told... so I sold it. Had an old Dodge 4x4 PU. Edelebrock performance parts on it (it ran, strong engine) but it had two flat tires. This jerk had the gall to tell me that he'd take it off my hands for free. Screw him, I cut it up for scrap.
Yes! I live off a dirt road in the desert and I don't care for, nor do I want "Big" governments utilitarian rules. What has happened to individualism? Government control has run amok. They (our leaders) have stuck their noses into the personal business of its citizenry, states, and that of other nations for too long. and mostly for secular reasons. ie- personal profit, gain, power, etc... for what it seems to me... a select and greedy few. Conspiracy theory? Drop the theory... It's true
What price is too high for the simple man... you and me. Unrealistic taxation, loss of liberty, rights, and security, etc., etc.. Everything we believe guaranteed by the Constitution is being destroyed. Governmental foreign policies and war mongering is drawing hatred and contempt from the world community. It is pretty obvious why we face terrorist threats from abroad... Dissenters from within? Does that make me a terrorist? Then good! So be it!
