Do we hold Royal S. Copeland responsible or not ?

This is something I read on our so great Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia--and it spurned a real disgust for the cognitive construct held by one single man named Royal S. Copeland who felt us consumers deserved a safer product than the elixirs peddled by 'snake-oil salesmen'. If you are not familiar with that term, look it up ! Yet, still understand that this guy was just doing what he thought was an act of 'saving the human race' noy destroying it here and there neurologically-speaking with adding these now-known hazardous additives to our food, drink and make-up !

"The United States Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (abbreviated as FFDCA, FDCA, or FD&C), is a set of laws passed by Congress in 1938 giving authority to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to oversee the safety of food, drugs, and cosmetics. A principal author of this law was Royal S. Copeland, a three-term U.S. Senator from New York.[1] In 1968, the Electronic Product Radiation Control provisions were added to the FD&C. Also in that year the FDA formed the Drug Efficacy Study Implementation (DESI) to incorporate into FD&C regulations the recommendations from a National Academy of Sciences investigation of effectiveness of previously marketed drugs.[2] The act has been amended many times, most recently to add requirements about bioterrorism preparations."

Do we hold this man responsible ? Can we escape the continued mindset that this stuff is okay ? Are we man and woman enough to stand as consumers with intellect intact and smarts getting smarter to not have any more products made with FD&C ANYTHING ???????????

I am disappointed this country is still using the stats from studies in 1938 to justify the means of using these additives as opposed to natural ones. In my research studies of foods I eat to what I bathe in, I cannot emphasize how many products manaufactured in the USA (or imported from China) contain a neurologically deficit addendum. There are a few that are good for us and one I mention below. Even if more advanced strides have been made in science, our bodies and the genetic make-ups are no longer able to tolerate the effects these additives are wreaking havoc on our immune systems . . .

Are you ready to stop this abuse of the food we eat, beverages we drink and the bath washes or perfumes we lavish ourselves with ? Then follow me and put a good vibe for the new world order that some people take to believing we are against the betterment of this planet. I for one am engaged in a mission to make Earth as worthy of inclusion in this phenomenal solar system, but until the human race re-educates those that think without using their full capacity, not eliminating their overall existence just making sure we are all on the same page-- WE MUST STOP THOSE IN GOVT who just don't get it.

and one more thing . . . do we really need a 'federal' controlled agency of any kind ?
