Ed and Elaine Brown Update III

From October 2 2009 Salt Lake Tribune. This is a my rundown from the most recent article i could locate, but funny they were all quoting the same news service (Associated Press).

October 2, 2009, 68 year old Elane Brown was sentenced to 35 years in prison because she had weapons in her home while having a warrent out for not showing up for court over paying taxes.

Edwards sentencing has been delayed while he undergoes a psychiatric evaluation to determine his competency. So in 2 years hes just been "detained" in prison awaiting trials for trials. And lets not forget all the others sent to prison just for bringing them food to their house!

I could not find a video clip of the news coverage over Elaines sentencing on Oct 2 that didn't make her out to be a hardened criminal, how sad is that? The news clips I found had comentators saying she deserved it and that this sends a strong message to people who are thinking of following in their footsteps. I found multiple very nasty comments on articles from peple mad that they pay taxes and the Browns were not.

I have just one thing to say to these people and that is that some day they will come for you for something of lesser circumstance (if thats possible) and it wont be your fault or maybe you have done anything wrong and no one will be left to speak out for you, and therell be people saying, "good its so great that you go to prison forever" and they "hope you die". How will that make you feel I wonder?

You wont care or even remember Elain Brown because you're selfish, self centered, and are non thinking never realizing they were thinking of YOU!!

Woonsocket couple sentenced for tax evasion

WOONSOCKET, R.I. -- A Woonsocket couple was sentenced to federal prison Wednesday for tax evasion on income from the local machine shop Classic Machine.

Albert Martin received 51 months in prison and his wife, Lorraine Martin, received a year and a day in prison. Both will also be put on three years of supervised release after prison. U.S. District Judge Mary M. Lisi also ordered that they pay restitution of $463,988 to the U.S. Treasury.

A federal jury in Providence convicted the Martins and co-defendant Bruce Lapierre in March of conspiracy to defraud the United States and two counts each of tax evasion, according to a news release from U.S. Department of Justice. Lapierre, of Burrillville's Pascoag section, was sentenced to 51 months in prison by Lisi in October.

Lapierre and Albert Martin owned and ran the Woonsocket-based machine shop from which "they earned substantial income," the Justice Department said, citing the indictment and evidence at trial. From 1997 to 2004, they schemed to conceal the income from the IRS.

According to the Justice Department, instead of opening business accounts for depositing receipts and income, the defendants concealed business receipts by using used Lorraine Martin's personal account and an anonymous banking service designed to hide income.

They also used several business names -- among them, Banner Technologies, Circle Machine, Preferred Enterprises and Royal Enterprise -- to do machine shop business. And, the Justice Department said, the defendants extensively used cash and money orders in which, for instance, they cashed checks under $10,000 so as to avoid federal transaction reports that are required for transactions of $10,000 or more.

I just watched the vid posts and the newsbroadcast said still needs to undergo "physic evaluttion". Sthitinski! Lord help him, wonder how they're messin with his brain! Used as examples to shut the rest of us up... Pay (we'll steal it from you) or else!

The original passage of the 16th amendment was done by deception, the IRS has far overstepped it's authority, given the tax code does not require payment of taxes for compensation for labor. The Brown's took a courageous stand and represent an ever expanding segment of educated Americans. The executive branch of this government has becone corrupt to the core and must be resisted and removed.
Ignorance is bliss, if you are not willing to educate yourself and take action, pay your taxes and stay ignorant of the lies and deception that keeps you enslaved to a system of taxation and debt.
Two wars of aggression, more than 50 years of meddling in the middle east and other nation's affairs has gained American's enmity around the world, when the original intent of the Constitution clearly indicates that the federal government has no right to engage in nation building or entangling alliances. National defense at the borders of the north American continent is the only legitimate purpose of the military, not empire and regime change to secure petroleum resources in the middle east and elsewhere.
Our nation has been lied to, our sons and daughters in the military are dead because of those lies, and the liars go unpunished.

They had the weapons ... I mean they knew full well that the feds weren't going to just say "OO you can go now"

I don't wan to say this and I REALLY don't want this taken out of context but they should have known they would be facing life in prison with what they were doing they should have used the tools at hand and fled the scene.

I feel for the Browns but this isn't the first time patriots who were in the right got railroaded to prison. This has happened TOO many times before I mean thousands of times before that have never even made the neighborhood rumor-mill let alone the news.

We live in a corrupt tyrannical corporate state, we have 100 times the tyranny that our founding fathers did when they had their revolution.
